Born in 2004 in Izmir, Turkey, into a family of artists, he was raised by the internet and learned everything he knows from it. Frequent trips to the cinema with his father as a child created an immense admiration for films and visual arts. While trying to reverse-engineer the content he consumed, he learned how to draw and edit visual media (and because of that, he refers to himself as informally trained). Since he figured out animation and video editing at a young age, all the media-related tasks in every school he attended ended up being his responsibility. From middle school onward, he painted murals on school walls, and the job of creating video content for school events was dumped on him. He often said he was sick of it, but secretly, he always had fun. This way, he ended up making an absurd number of tiny, ridiculous projects that would never make it into his portfolio.
The summer before high school, he came upon David Lynch, and everything changed. Lynch reshaped his understanding of both art and life, and he now tries to follow his steps while searching for his own voice. After high school, he got into Dokuz Eylül University’s Faculty of Fine Arts with a perfect score, when it became clear that the institution had a very creative approach to education—just not in the way he had hoped—he got into Anadolu University’s Graphic Arts Department in his third year, essentially resetting his entire education. Now, in Eskisehir, he is doing what he loves, trying to tell his stories and express his thoughts through every form of art.
